February 2007 News
The New Shop redevelopment is progressing steadily and we expect it to be ready for Easter - we may have some contingency arrangement if the builders have unforeseen problems or delays. The fishing lake is now stocked with 1,600 fish, mainly Carp and will be ready in April. Fishing will be by licence and only available to Greenacre owners alone. Details of charges and fishing rules will be ready in March. Locally some field areas and margins have been uncultivated to encourage Lapwing, Skylark , Thrush and Grey Partridge etc. Please keep to designated footpaths to avoid disturbance. A new path has been created in the southern band of trees on Greenacre West and is now open, but please only use the path itself - images of the new path are included in this news item.
